Current Directory
Here you see the current USB memory directory you are in.
Click on any of the directory names to go "up" in the directory tree and open that directory.
The root of the directory tree is the directory specified as "Directory on USB device" on the "Built-in webserver" configuration page of this unit. You cannot access directories above that directory. There are two different "Directory on USB device"-s - one for inside (LAN/Intranet) users and one for outside (WAN/Internet) users.
Directories and Files
Here you see a list of files and subdirectories available in the directory selected above.
Directories: click on directory name to open it and see the files within.
Files: click on file name to open the file:
- These files are recognised as image files and are opened in the image view area to the right. Music (mp3) files are also recognised and played in the background (refresh the page or change directory to stop the music). To open these files in a separate window hold your PC's SHIFT key pressed while clicking.
- These files are opened in a separate window for viewing. If your browser recognises the file it might start the appropriate application to view the file.
If you do not see any directories or files then:
- no USB memory is attached to the unit, or
- there is no directory named as specified in "Directory on USB device" in the USB memory, or
- there are no files in that directory, or
- the USB device is incompatible. (The USB device must be a USB Mass Storage device with a FAT32 file system on it.)
